An era to Remember. A group of gender equality activists of the 1970’s are shown coming together to show support for the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). This photo was featured in the Women’s Foundation of Lincoln & Lancaster County (WFLLC) documentary, “Miles to Go: Women Activists Reflect on the Road Traveled,” which brings attention to those who fought for gender equality in Lincoln and helped make progress to remedy other issues that affected women. “It’s so important for us to remember what happened in the past and to have these women’s voices telling their truths,” WFLLC President Kathy Uhrmacher said.
