Sterup visited both Vala’s Pumpkin Patch and Bellevue Berry Farm to compare the fall attractions. “The atmosphere [at Vala’s] was clearly more catered towards families with carnival-like games, rides, and even a magic show,” Sterup said.

Plenty of pie. With a smile on her face, First Presbyterian Church member Joyce Wells serves visitors pie as they enter the Sarpy County Museum. This gathering concluded the 175th anniversary celebration of the First Presbyterian Church with tables to sit and eat at before exploring the displays of history. “We had a lot of good pie to serve so that was my favorite part,” Wells said.
